This experimental research was conducted in class X at SMAN 1 Bangkinang. The purpose of this is to find out the effect using drama technique towards students’ speaking skills. methodology uses a Quasi-Experimental design. sample XA as with 29 students and XB control 28 students. used random sampling involving X. instrument skills test. Data analysis SPSS version 24 program. Based on results study, average score 69.38 34.00. showed significant (2-tailed) 0.0000.05. means that Ha accepted. So, it can be concluded has good effects
